What kind of Paddle's do you guys run when your duning? I was looking at some ITP Sand Star's but I've never bought paddle's before so what should I be looking for? What tires to you guys recomend? And also what size's should I run?
Here's what I'm looking at, Front and rear:

alot of it depends on what you ride, what size motor, what mods, and what kind of sand.

sand stars are awesome. the "V" paddles are the way to go if u ask me. they allow u to turn alot better than with straight paddles. straight paddles are better for drag racing and "V" paddles are better for carving the dunes but still work awesome for drag racing.

o, by the way id just run the same size tires u have on it normally.

i dont know why everone looks into getting sand stars for their first set of paddles i guess maybe they have good advertising but from expeirence on multiple people this is one of the worst paddles out their. now if your wanting to just climb hills and put around threw the trails they will work fine but drag racing and hitting the trails hard you wont be getting anywhere clsoe to your bikes potential. i would recomend a straight paddle i dont have any expeirence with any other V paddles so im nto sure their
i just noticed that you said little sahra is that in utah or the one in oklahoma? if in oklahoma they have a sand shop down their that has turbo paddles theyre a generic brand of haulers and like half the price working just as good honestly check those out

Mostly I'm with honduh440. Sand Stars aren't bad paddles--they're just not an especially high performance paddle. They will last a very long time but like most molded paddle tires, they're just too heavy.
Your YFZ will spin those Sand Stars just fine. I've ridden a YFZ with Stand Stars and "slow" is not the word that comes to mind. But you'd be leaving performance on the table (enough that an aggressive rider would definitely notice) by running Sand Stars vs. a lighter weight paddle.
Do not get ITP C-Series wheels if you care about performance. They look really nice but weight a ton. I'd get regular aluminum wheels in .125 or .160 gauge. .190 is only needed for a sand tire if you are really hard on your wheels.
Sand Stars on .190 rims are thrifty, durable, and offer adaquate performance. But they'll be far from the best performing sand tire settup you could have.

for playin around and just free riding ill take my sandstars any day. I rode my 8 paddle haulers on my other 400 the same way, wont do it again. I will put haulers on my banshee though!
