i'm going to the joe byrd riding school in september....on the list of things to bring is spare parts...what i'm wondering is what are some parts that you should always have with you......i have a z-400 if that helps....i don't have a lot of money to spend on spare parts...especially on stuff that i'll probably never need

i'd say take some levers w/ you, handlebars, throttle maybe stem, wheels. Just take what commonly breaks or bends when you roll that you need to ride on.

thanks....the class is at hannegan speedway in washington...its really close for me so i'm pretty happy...i have some idea of parts to bring..like extra levers....i'm just wondering if there are some parts that i should always have with me...and parts that tend to break a lot

levers
chain lube
air filters
oil and filters
tire plugs
hardware nuts-bolts
mx gear- spare socks
Gator aid - beer!!

I always take
Spare tires and rims
Chain and sprockets (ussually last years used set)
Handle bars (ussualy the stockers that came off)
extra levers
Tire patch kit
oiled filter in a bag
extra changed of oil and oil filter (never know
)
Assorted tools. (make sure the specific tools like homemade ones)
Duct tape and zip ties
My flask for when I am still not prepared enough for the worse
