Does anyone run a big gun full system on there 250ex and how is it and how does it compare to the others?

i have a full big gun and its the only one ive ever had... but i love it and the only problem is that it bogs out at the really really top of the gear.. but its not a problem..

i have a big gun evo on my recon, gave it HUGE boosts,sounds great,and has a WHOLE lot more bottom,middle,and top end. before it toped out at 50, now its high 50's

I have a Big Gun Evo X on my EX. It is really great. When someone is pissing me off, i take the silencer out. When im in the woods, i put it in. It looks great and it very powerful. I love it. Too bad i dont ride the 250ex as much as the YFZ

i have heard and seen pics that there not built that tuff..... iv seen the headers cracked... rusted out... silencer mount to the header pipe crack... but thats just what i have seen!

o reallii, well since i own one myself, i can tell you that they are pretty good. I've had mine for about 1 and 1/2 and it has cause me no problems

cool it must be older modles but not sure... i would get a sparks x-4....... i guess it all comes down to money

In the past I've heard about problems with rust and generally shoddy fit/finish. They have probably gotten better since then.

yea they have, mine is around a year old, and it is an Evo X. Its really nice. I like it, and it is loud as hell.

Noise is just one of the reasons our riding areas are getting closed.

Maybe out by you there is not much to worry about, but everyone has an influence on what people think of the sport as a whole.

I dont ride in a area restricted by sound, but i can say this, i wouldn't go with this loud of an exhaust again if i had to do it all over. I've lost a decent amount of hearing due to loud exhausts in general.

see i dont agree with that. Most of the newer exhaust pipes are really loud. I picked a big gun because it looked hot. It was a bonus that it was loud. Loud exhausts are big in the industry because people like me and 250exkid like the sound. No one can help that. Its basically a way of life

Most of the newer exhausts are quieter than before. You think it's coincidental that the Pro's sound regs are getting more and more strict?

well most of the loud exhaust pipes put out the most power. For instance, the Big Gun Evo X puts out 13hp, and it is loud as hell. Power makes me happy so thats why i got it. you ***

are you saying the pipe adds 13 horsepower or the total hp of the engine with the pipe is 13??

o sry, anyway if any of you have a big gun read the box, #1. And number 2 i no that flow makes hp, it is just couinsedental that a really loud pipe will make a lot of power. thats all im saying.

big guns are generally a very high quality pipe that add a good amount of horsepower. however, cobra pipes are extremely loud, but they dont make a lot of power. its all in the engineering of the pipe. ie lenth and diameter of the core

omg the turbo is a waste of money, all of the turbo parts, like intercooler and internals that have to be done cost like triple the amount of the exhaust. I have a big gun and im just saying it is worth the money.

I'm sure it is, over the stock exhaust, or a real turd of a pipe like a DG or Cobra. but over another quality brand ? on a 250ex? cmon.

lol yea sparks's head pipes are great for 250ex's there not to small or not to big! HMF is waaay to big so yea the only reason i got a sparks is cuz i got it for 210$ shipped a little bit used but dang it
