hey do any of you guys know how to remove the parking from the 400ex. mine doesnt work and i have heard that you can save some weight by removing the parking brake assembly. if anyone has done this and has photos any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

ok if you go to the very back of your swingarm, you will see where the parking brake connects to your whole rear brake housing... take off the two screws that are on the the parking brake... then it should come right off and you will be able to place the parking brake block off in its place....next you need to go up to your handle bars and remove the cable from the perch...it should be the top cable if I remember correctly, then once you get that off you will have to pry open a few of the connectors that hold the cable in place to the quad..don't worry if these connecters happen to break, cause you don't need them afterwards anyway....let me know if this helps at all....
