i have a 400ex carb and i want to put it on my 300 is there anyway i can mod my 300s air boot to fit the 400s carb if not what do i need to make it work. thanks

just heat up the tube and put some lube on it and force it on, it will stretch over the carb, and when it cools it will shrink and stay on. if you do this then you will have to remove the boot and the carb as one peice, a 350x boot is what most people use

heat it up or run a clamp on filter like i do.

I took my airbox tube off alot so it got annoying stretching the boot over the carb so much,thats why i have a clamp on filter now.
