i have a 96 honda 300ex i need to make the shock stiffer because it bottoms out on whoops im a big boy. standing from the back of the bike do i turn the ring to the left or the right ? thanks

if you look at the notches on the bottom of the shock you should turn it till the stopper or whatever you wanna call it sits on the lowest one(buy that i mean the one closest to the ground)that will be about as stiff as your goin to get

You wont even notice a change....its going to bottom one way or another.
