Hey I have been thinking of some new tires to run. I have been looking at kenda klaws or kenda knarlys and I would like to know if anyone has them and how they like them? I ride trails, some mud, some roads, some softer, some coal mines.

the knarlys are more for hard pack and the klaws have a dual rotation tread and is a good all-around tire. i say go for the klaws

Knarlys are more for hardpack?
I dunno...mine work great in all conditions except the thickest mud. They slide predictably and hook up when you want them to. So far they are about the best trail tire I have tried.

well you are probably right since you own them. but on their website they describe them as being for hardpack

It doesn't say anything about hardpack on their site for the Knarly HT's or the XC's. It does mention baja for the HT's... (which is what I have).

So it does... I would be inclined to follow what Kendas site says over dennis kirk though.

I would say the knarly HT or XC. The XC's come in 21" sizes so really they are better for rocks/mud.
Rockymountainatv or C&D would be about the cheapest places to get them.

I have a set of HT's bought them to use at Quadfest 2005. Very Rocky and Muddy! They worked great. I have been in frame dragging deep mud and got right thru. I have a friend that has XC's and he climbs loose coal hills like he has paddles! So I would say go for the XC's!!!!
