I know WRONG section, well not too many people visit over there or central.Anyway I figured alot of people switched to the 450r from Z's anyway.
I have a 2004 Z400 stock except for wheels and tires.I want to use as a back up to my 450r but i need to add alot of power. So big cylinder and or compression? This is actually my wifes' machine so I can't go too wild any and all input will be appreciated.Trying to keep it cheap but I know how that goes. Thanks ,Mike.

Where would that put me power wise. Or should I say could it compete in the woods? I know the Z is snappy down low if I up the front sprocket it would be better.Which cams or is the selection limited?I have an RS-3 slipon but I think I'll pass on a full system.

Hot cams stage 2. My neightbor has a Z400 with a Dyna tech cdi, both hot cams and a Pro circiut slip on. It almost can hang with my 450R with a pipe on it. We ride woods.
