I have a 10:1 416 engine with a hmf slip on, all I run is hair scrambles.

what cam would you guys run? most of the places I run have big, long hill climbs in them.

would I lose alot of bottom vs the stock cam going stage 2 or should I just go stage 1?

is 10:1 even enough compression for the 416 to run right with the stage 2?

thanks.

I went with the stage I and don't regret it at all.

if i was u i would go stage 1 it gives u more bottom to mid power would be better for hill climbing...stage 2 gives u mid to top end mostly used in 426 and 440's...next time u rebuild id go with the 11:1 piston too u can still run pump gas with it (93 octane)....
