Has anyone switched to the hotter plug reccomended buy the owners manual for wide open/high speed? Does it make any difference for starting or throw off jetting or anything like that?

As every one else said, it is a colder plug. I pretty much run this plug all the time, as I race desert and find myself at high speeds for long periods of time. I have not noticed any difference in the way the quad runs with either plug. If it was not for Honda's recomendation, I would not even run it.
