Like the title says is the 300EX rear brake caliper the same as the 400EX Caliper? Thanks in advance.

i'm not sure but I know you can put a 250r rotor and caliper on a 300ex so if the 250r can fit likely the 400 would to. But I don't know for sure.

yes the caliper (top portion) is the same,,,,the bracket that the caliper is on is different and the mounting holes on a 400ex caliper will not line up with the 300ex brake stay caliper holder.

there are a few solutions to this

So bascisally you just change the bracket from my old 300EX bracket to the new 400EX caliper then
