250x and ex differences

the 250ex has a sideways (lack of better words) engine and the 250x is basically the same configuration as the 300 ex. Am I correct?

Yea, the 250ex motor is mounted longitudually (spelling?) And the 250x is basically an older 300ex.

the difference bewteen the 300ex and 250ex is the same as the difference bewteen a 250ex and 250x.

the 250x/300ex are the same quad basicly

the 300ex and the 250x are the same thing a stock 250x would proboly blow away a stock 250ex

a 250x is the same as a 300ex except it has a kickstart and a slightly shorter stroke and the 250ex is just like a recon, with sporty plastics and 10% more power from 55 degree porting and a slightly larger exhaust flange

250x is chain drive, more power,kick start,manual clutch

250ex shaft drive,less power (229cc) auto clutch (06/07 got sport clutch) and electric start.
