My daughters pride and joy is her Bling outed 250Ex. She helpd pick out every thing that we put on it and it had it all. She loved this quad and I went and bought her a Z-400 to replace it. She upset with me cause the 250 fit her perfect and the Z-400 is on the big side for her. I'm sure she will grow into it. I think she's a little scared of the new power, I like that part! I had to sell her 250 the next day and she cryed when the ol'boy came to pick it up. She not a spoiled brat and gets all "A's" in school.
I've got a Whitebrothers E2 pipe on the way along with filter and jets, nerf bars and PRM skid plate front and rear bumper.
You teens think she ever come around and forgive her dad?
As you can see in this picture the 250 is in the background and even with her helmet on you can see she's not very happy.

When she gets used to it and outruns her friends on it....she'll feel guilty for giving you a rough go of it!!!! lol

Although the Z is a MUCH better machine..... If she was happy with the 250, why sell it?

eh, i loved my blaster. rebuilt the whole thing from a-z with my pops. sold it and my parts blaster got just about 3000 with a 2000 profit, which all went for the down payment on my 05' Z.

dont' sweat it, she will get over it soon enough

You sound just like her Mother. I guess I sold it cause I was bored with it. Now that I have confessed my sins I feel so much better.
Once I showed her a few post from here that said the 250EX was an entry level quad she's smiling again.

A jet kit and a set of nerfs!!!! lol

She'll flip when she reads this then....with the right mods, they'll run right with any of the modded 450's!!!! lol You probably did'nt wanna hear that though!!! lol

I just got a few bigger jets and a Pro design intake and Uni filter at lunch today. The nerfs and skids, bumpers are in the mail.
She will be glad to hear that!! So thats what that little throttle limiter screw is for!!! I got to post just one more picture, Looks who wants to go for a ride.

The 1st thing i'd chuck off of it....the stock carb. Get a 37-39mm FCR and it'll wake that baby up like a thick mug of Mississippi coffee!!!

How old is she by the way? I'm having a heck of a time getting my 10 year old stepdaughter to be anything but a chicken on her 90cc Dinli.

My wife was very unhappy when I sold her three yr old Z400 she bought brand new. I wanted the bros Athena and knew she'd like it after she got used to the added power. We changed the plastic and put on a grafics kit so it felt more personal. She couldn't be more happy now. Your daughter will feel the same way w/ time..

let her pick out a graphics kit, it will make it "hers"

if she was happy with the 250ex I would have let it be,
I have 4 kids and its hard enough to keep them happy.
They always want something newer or faster or bigger.

(I know what you where thinking though......................
if yours breaks or goes to the shop or down for mods..........
you will have something to play on)

I did kind of the same thing by buying my daughter a 400ex
