im trying to decide if i should get a hmf slip on or just the hole kit header and all? not sure what do. i want to put jets in it and later on down the road some other littl stuff but not sure what to do? help me

HMF, curtis sparks... those are the ones you are going to hear on here... And a full system is not needed unless you get engine work done(tho the sparks comes as a full system anyways). Also dont wait to chage the jetting down the road, it needs to be done right away because your engine wont be getting the right amount of gas with the new exhaust(btw jets do not add HP or anything, they just help the quad the run right).

HMF Slip-on with Back Vector End Cap. Paid $269.99
Here's a video clip so you can heard what it sounds like.

I think an HMF slip on is the way you want to go. Like troutman said, with no engine mods there really is no reason to get a full system. Buy the HMF slip on, you'll notice better power mid range to top end and you won’t spend a fortune on it. Also like troutman said, don't wait to re-jet. Do it when you install the new exhaust.

I'm sorry and I know that alot of people will disagree with me but I really like the Lrd. People say that they do not last long but I have had mine for more then a year now and have had now problems. And if it is loud that you are looking for it is much louder and beefier than the HMF in my perspective. I know it isn't up close but here is the sound at the beginning http://youtube.com/watch?v=5kZSPUG80F0

I agree 100% ,but the down side to the LRD is the loudness. I am at 103dec. with a spark arrestor and no quiet core.

troutman I am going to have to argue with you on jetting doesn't increase power. I believe it does increase power, even if only incrementally. If a machine doesn't have the optimal amount of fuel to match the air, then you end up with either a rich setup which runs rough and choked up or a lean setup where the motor is screaming and producing heat. Remember gasoline also acts as a coolant in the chamber since it is a liquid that is at ambient temperature. That's why when you tune the quad your are tuning for a specific air/fuel ratio. That's how it all works.
