CAN ANYONE HELP ME? I WANT TO JET MY 450 MYSELF I JETTED 2STROKES BUT NEVER A 4STROKE HOW DIFFICULT IS IT?

its not diffucult at all its just liking jettin 2strokes expect it just tad different wat kind of pipe do u have and is it full or slip-on wat is the tempature at your location???if u can give me some answers of these i sure can help u jet it!!!

Maybe you can help me too. I just bought a 2006 YFZ450. The previous owner took the baffle out of the stock pipe. I asked him for it but he no longer has it. The bike runs fine just louder. I've heard that without the baffle and stock jetting and air, you can burn a valve. My plan was to jet the carb and give it more air to keep the stock pipe, minus the baffle. The average temp where I live in Indiana is about 35-40 deg right now. Were approx. 300' above see level.

I don't have the money for an aftermarket slip-on right now, so I'm trying to ensure I take care of potential problems until I can afford it.

I loved the HMF sport series slip-on I put on my 04' Z400. Do they work as well on the YFZ450s?
