how fast do you think a stock 06 honda 250ex will go?

on my trail tech the highest I could get was 50.7, and that was wide open in the top of 5th gear for about 15 seconds on pavement.

Well, they will make it get to the top speed quicker, but it won't raise the top speed. Now if you got a rev box or bigger tires then that would raise the top speed.

no no my stock 2005 250ex at top speed against my friends 03 250ex with full exhuast jets and air filter he like 2-3 atv spaces a head of me so you cant tell me those modds dont raise top speed if he stays a head of me for a 40 acre hay field! lol so plz tell me on that

I have a strictly stock 2002 250EX. At 2860 ft. elevation, 90 degree day, 230 lb. rider using a GPS Receiver I clocked 52 MPH. At El Mirage Dry Lake. 2 mile straight run.

for the person who said you cant hit the rev limiter stock, you are definetly wrong. On my old 2003 250ex i would hit the rev limiter many time on a concrete straight away. I'm sorry but your wrong. And the mods will definetly make your top speed go up. Not much, but it will increase.

I agree with you on the first part, but how will those mods increase top speed when the engine cannot rev any higher with the stock rev limiter? What I am saying is that it is already at its peek revs stock, an exhaust won't raise the rev limit meaning it won't effect top speed.

ya man it does but what i am saying is i had a Big Gun Evo X full exhaust as my first mod, and i saw an increase in top speed. The way it is, is that it would hit the rev limiter much faster, thus giving it more top speed. Not acceleration wise, but will you all at the top speed.
Hope this makes sense, its kind of hard to explain.

wasnt this forum about 2006 250ex's not anything below cause the 06 has a lil more top end than the 2005's and lower the top speed of a 06 250ex is about 56mph

First of all- please, and give me a good reason, tell me why in the world would the 06 250ex's be faster than older ones?

Second- There is NO WAY, that is NO WAY it was clocked at 62, dont even argue, the drag strips radar is WRONG. Unless you had no rev limiter and about 3594953498 dollars into your motor.

i really never said that a sled couldnt beat my car. Im just saying top speed wise i would murder you. And i do no a couple things aobut sleds. For christmas i got a 2006 Polaris 900 Fusion. Its nice, but I never have the time for it. It is really quick too. Maybe not faster than yurs but, if i get parts and bore it out, then maybe someday.

myabe not to you, but to me i am just curious what my horsepower output is once in a while. I dont want to take the car to the track because, it is my everyday car. Yet i will still race people on the roads. Smoked a 2003 bmw 325xi this morning. Nothing special, beat him by a mile and only did it cause the kid challenged me.

Ok, I said I was not going to get back into this, but stock the 250ex will not go past 52 MPH if that. The highest I ever got (held wide open on a flat road for 20 seconds) was 50.7. That was with a trail tech speedometer. I weighed about 150 at the time. Every 250 is different, some are slower than others, some are faster than others based on how well it was broken in when it was new. But unless you are a 50 pound 7 year old, you aren't going faster than 52. Oh, and a "well my buddie drove next to me in his truck, and he got 56 mph" method does not work, that is not accurate at all. I think you said earlier that you had a radar test you at a drag strip? I think I would trust an actual speedometer programed spot on better than that. I am talking about bone stock here, stock rev limit and everything.

u are crazy why would u put 18s on a 250 that is geared for the stock 22s haha if u would put 18s on it u would top out at like 45mph it would be torqy as hell but no speed...i dont even think ive ever seen 18s on a quad i thought the smallest was 20s. i put holeshot gnccs on mine i think they are 21 rear and 22 front its a little slower but it has more torque. oh and bigger rear tires make u have more speed, smaller more torque

it has 700hp w/o the nitrous. The year i have has an ls1 engine and you can basically do anything to those engines. On like gm performance or something forgot the website, and ls1 camaro has over 1000hp w/o nos
