i want to know the speed of the eton 90 i have 2004 .

And im having trouble trying to find the governer.. I took out the one oon the throttle but they say there is another one under right under the ignition. I dont know if the 2004 hass it but the dealer said there was one

Are they speaking of the wire on the CDI box?

their probably talking about the setting on the CDI box, on a 2004 the CDI box should be located under the hood on the front, all the new ones are under the seat. find the CDI box on the top of it there will be a little white screw to set the rev limiter the white screw is slotted look closly to the white part and you will notice that it has an arrow turn it to the highest setting which I think is 9 if that is all the way up and the throttle stop screw is all the way out and you still want more speed its time to start doing some mods....

We have a 04 Viper, the only limiter on ours was the green wire on the back of the cdi. Cutting the wire removes the rev limiter. You won't notice any difference until you do other mods.

Our 04 viper 90 does about 28-29 mph on radar..If you look down a few threads to the post about "viper 90 cdi mods" posted by "loons" I show pictures how to find and cut the green cdi wire.
