ATV had been running good, but just started having problems that only happen when cruising up hills. It seems to loose power then stops. I sometimes can smell gas. It will crank back up and if I give it more gas will stay running. Runs fine on flat ground. What in the carb should I be looking to fix? Float?

well 1st check your spark plug and see what color it is. If its wet and or black your running rich. If its like cardboard brown your right on.

What size jet do you have in your carb now?
