Holy balls 1150 for tires and rims.

I dont know how you guys feel but I could never spend that much on tires and rims.

I see it this way, you could of saved 400 dollars by getting regular beadlocks and razr tires. Then put that 400 into other things.

personally i have never seen the point behind the hipers mainly bacause my aluminum beadlocks hold up just fine but i guess for crosscountry u can destroy aluminum? idk

You said it man, for the woods you cant beat them. A guy I know rolled his 450 down a hill and cracked his itp pro lock.

Posted by: eganracing

i would never run itp rims on my bike. but back on subject, i hope u like your new setup.

they are stronger than aluminum from what I heard

My brother cracked his Hiper wheel before but it still held air and Hiper sent him a new replacement piece for free!!! They also have a year warranty on them and sometimes will still cover some stuff after a year but that is sometimes!

Ohh Yeah man you wont be dissapointed i love mine

We have hipers, itsa love/hate relationship...
they are a PITA to swap out tires on.
They sure look sweet too
Congrats!

Posted by: damian600

considering my take home pay is over 1G a week, spending the money for them is not really an issue for me.

Posted by: Tedgnya

That is the exact same setup I have on my quad. I love the setup. For the woods you cant beat the hipers. I have bent my stock front wheels and the fronts of my ITP baja wheels on the same rocky hillclimb that twists up the hill and is a little brushy where some good sized rocks are that you fail to see when hauling butt up the hill. I have hit the same rocks with the hipers and just have dented or scratched the rings. No big deal and I will probably not have to replace a wheel again.

The tire combo works really well, the IRazers hook up in straight line attack very well too. They are a little taller than stock too. I nice plus to those rutted hill climbs as well.

Thanks for the reassurement Tedgnya.

Well this comment ^made me sick!

Spending @ 800 for a set of rims that will never dent or break is definately worth it.

You could have found cheaper! or used or something

Posted by: speedyquad

they are worth it...they are lighter than regualr beadlock, take much more of a beating, and just plain look better, especially on a black 450r...by the way i have the same set-up...hipers with razr2 up front and i razrs in the rear...

Posted by: damian600

nice, how do you like that setup???

Why would I want used ones for a Christmas present?? My girl bought me them!

Posted by: speedyquad

i love it...the irazrs provide awesome forward bite, but slide just as easily...their only downfall is that they wear fast...the fronts track very well...
this combo is great!!!

i am selling the 450r and going back to my old 400ex. the hipers and tires are on the 400ex now...i have a person that is interested in the 450r, but only if it comes with the hipers...the price of the r went up of course, but if the deal goes through, i will be putting hipers on the 400ex with razr 2's all around(i razrs wear too fast for my liking)...

Posted by: damian600

Well i only ride once a month, so how fast they wear doesnt really matter to me!

Posted by: speedyquad

i would be lucky if i got to ride once a month on them...they have about 50 easy hours on them and have already worn about 40% off them...they are great tires, but you will be surprised how fast they actually wear

Posted by: force

i got 10 xc races out of my I-razrs.
I'm trying Holeshot GNCC's this time around.
