sup guys. My friend is selling his 450 DG series nerf bars for his 2005 450r. I wanna buy them but i have a 2001 honda 400ex. Will they fit on a 2001 400ex? let me know guys. Thanks

from what I've heard from other people on this site the 450r nerfs will not fit...

Some of them will fit, check DG's website, it should say for nerfs 450r/400ex.

If he's a friend, ask him to make the sale contingent on them fitting.

If they mount to the front motor mounts, they will not fit. I tried some AC nerfs, although it was close, the front mounts would not work.

If your serious you can get them to work.I had 250r nerfs on my 300ex with a lil'bit of mods,plus they looked like they were meant for it too

If their propeg it isnt gonna work, if its normal it should work with some adjustments in the foot pegs if it fits the motor mounts correctly. Propegs..im not really sure they MIGHT work. I agree with granaman, ask your friend to loan you/come to your place and see how it works.
