thanks for the help . i bought the bike used and he had a 185 jet in there with just a slip on. and when you went full throttle for a bit it would cut out. then u could choke it then undo it and it would run again. before i got on line tonight i changed back to a 38 pilot and a152 jet now its popping threw the carb .thanks for the help guys

what do you have for an air filter? You running lid or no lid? Any or motor mods besides a pipe. I would up your pilot to a 42 and your main to a 155.

Alright more info would help(i.e. ablid on/off, n e other mods, where you live and how high above sea level, and average temp.)
It sounds to lean.

Yea you are pretty lean, try a 160 and a 165 main that should be pretty close.

the only mods r open k&n no air box and the header and white brothers pipe. it ran fine with the 185 it had when i bought it. the only thing it did was about a min. into full throttle down the dunes it would starve for fuel i think then i would choke it and it would be fine again . now i just pulled out the plug and it was very black(fowled). i live at 500ft and its about 30-40 (temp) thanks for the help you guy r great

40 pilot and a 158 main for the winter, 155 main for the summer.
