What year cr reed cage fits the r?

CR250 cages and intake carb boots from 1985 to 2001 will fit the 250R. I use one form a 2001 CR250 and 1996 CR250. The intake boot is a little shorter and has a little different angle than the 250R boot.

i have a v-force2 and am gonna get the 3 next and i looken rockymountainatv.com for the part# its different for the 250r than the 86 -01 cr250 ,
but i know FTZ does a power valve mod with the cr cylinders for the trx
but what advantage would be gained by using the cr vforce
over the trx v-force
