there's a hillbilly this weekend in southwest MO just above the arkansas border. Reed Springs,MO

Tight and technical sounds fun. I would race this weekend but my quad is in about 900 peices and wont be ready for a few weeks. Might see yall at the first one in January depending how far they are in Missouri. I am riding the Yellow, black suzuki.

Do any of the Hillbilly tracks have a MX track in the course or are all of them all woods?

Posted by: jlm996s

The Thayer race has a mx portion, but that race has already happened for this year.

Posted by: moto50

Yea I have raced MX at Thayer before. I figured they had their MX track as part of the race. do any of the other hillbilly races have a mx track?

It was cold and windy and the creeks were flooded, but all in all we had a blast. The overall is as follows:

Duane Johnson (of course)
Brian Hulsey
Devon Jarrett (proved himself in the pro class today)
Tony Friga
Dave Hicks
DJ Shrum
Carson Coffman
and Daniel Schafer

We are sooo proud of our boys, they did great.

And Devon....yes, you are the man until the next race, then you have to prove it all over again.

It must have been the ITP tires. Good job Devon.

The ITP tires worked great at this race, especially in the creek. The only downside is since they're taller its a little more tipsy in the off cambers.

that course was rough and the stock shocks didnt do much help! i feel like i went 3 rounds with tyson, but overall a good day and man that creek/small river was a problem for a few riders..looking foward to sedalia now

Posted by: moto50

Does anybody know what the course in lincoln will be like?
is it rocky?
I heard it is mostly open fields, so a 50" quad would be fine? is that true?

I am just getting bored this winter with no races going on and want something fun to do.

Posted by: MO-EX-RIDER

im not sure on lincolns' terrain because i have never been there, but i do know these hbgp races are some tight mofo's!! 50" wide will be cutting it extremely close..bring an extra set of tie rods

Posted by: scramblerracer

Devon- WOW!

You should be proud as that is one hell of a field of fast guys to be third in. If you don't break your leg this year it should just keep getting more and more interesting with you and DJ moving up thru the ranks. It is really cool to see you guys keep getting faster. Later Josh
