How was my cylinder ported?

How do I go about finding out if my cylinder is ported for the pipe that is on it? The bike ran pretty hard from mid on up, with no botom, but I have read that this FMF Fatty should be good for overall performance, not great or bad in any specific area. I can drop off the cylinder for bore/honing/piston, but I have a feeling someone just threw this thing together, not knowing what they were doing. I only found one local shop that does this work, should I send it out, and if so to who? PM if you want to solicit my business.

bring it to a profesional engine builder, and see what they say. they will be able to tell. maybe the ports just need to be cleaned up.

If you would like, I can degree the ports & see if the numbers are right for that pipe.
I can get the cylinder bored & honed & supply a new piston as well.
The bore shop that I use works on 2 stroke air craft engines, fitting piston all day, best I ever seen.
If you need or want any port work done, I can do that to.

I would send it to Neil. He really knows his stuff.
