It'll bolt right in, you just be missing a rear motor mount.
The trick that guys do is take the center rear mount from the 86-87 and cut the tabs off. Than weld them to the frame. Did it to a local guys quad. Would probably work better if you fabricated another cross tube like the 88-89's have. But that swinger is all you have than that's one way to make it work.
Do a search on this in this forum. I think I remember someone else a while back doing this and included pics.

All you need to do is add the rear lower mounts to the frame. The best way to do it is to secure the engine with the headstay mount, front mount and front lower mount. Once you do this it will be easy to get the correct alignment for the rear lower mount tabs.

the above mentioned method will work but if you have an above average engine and do any harsh riding then i'd suggest that you have the rear cross tube added like the 88-89 frames have.
i have an 86 frame with the 88-89 swinger and had to do this VERY mod. if you want overkill then you can have the above mentioned tabs added in conjunction with the cross bar.
a pic i scrounged up of the lower rear mount that velocityatv mentioned

and one of an 86 that has had the cross bar added.
