Looking for a temp guage setup but I'm not spending 50-75 for one, wondering if anyone has made one if so what from? Anyone got pics of one installed into their 250r.

I remember seeing one ona big bore powervalve motor or just big bore motor, and where it was and looked good. Got pics.

That's a cool way off doing it, very original. I like how you can see the gauge without having to bend over and look down by your engine. However, I built mine out of 2" aluminum round stock. Basically, lathed it down, cut some fins in it and drilled a hole right in the side. Threaded the hole and screwed in a temp gauge. The temp gauge alone was $30, I bought two so I could make another one if I ever wanted to. I think I'm about $40 into it in just materials alone.
