how much should I worrie about water and other stuff getting at my air filter with the lid off and could you still run a cherry bomb with the baffle out and the lid on.

Unless you are running in water deeper than the seat you are ok without the lid. If you run the CRBM with the lid on it will run too rich. Ray.
