the shaft drive will give it good torque to go along with that 700 v-twin motor, is it an auto clutch or an automatic like the polarises? just doesnt make any sense to me. i wonder if it will be fast? time will tell but for now i am boggled

That's supposed to be a high performance sportster.............. What the F? Looks like an butchered alien bug abortion job!?! I like the idea of the twin cylinder 700, but mated to an auto tranny is worthless in my mind. Haven't seen any specs on it but it looks like it will weight as much as a Sherman tank. Them Kawasaki folk smokin way too much sheeba!

kawasaki is actaully perty smart... their goin in a class where theris only 1 company that competin with them... an that polaris.. im sure kawaski will make allot of moey off this beast... how mnay scramblers do u see? i see allot. an now people that were goin to buy a scram will buy the kawasaki..

on a second note this will be the fastest production quad for sure.. the paire is almost as fast as the ol 400 an this is 100 pounds lighter an 50 more ccs. looks like the quadzilla lost its trophy for the fastest sport quad ever..

Its probly honda's new sport quad. There probly putting out bad quads under other manufacturer's names so they will go out of busines and honda will have a monopoly in the quad market.

Anyone talking about how poor this quad will be on the MX track is stating the obvious. Kawasaki didn't develop this quad to be MX raced so we shouldn't even be discussing it's negative aspects in reference to MX racing. We don't talk about the Scrambler when it comes to MX'ing and this Kaw is directly attacking Polaris. And why not, like someone said, there's no competition in that segment and I see plenty of Scram's running around. This is strictly a woods/trail quad so don't expect anyone to be piloting this thing to a MX championship.

Guylt250r, that was the funniest thing i have ever heard on this site. Haha the funniest thig is u r exactly right. Everyone would rather have the 700cc kawasaki engine anyway so thanks for stopping at least one 250ex owner from flaming about a quad that he has never even seen or ridden, but still knows that its better than his!!

What I mean is you're busting Kawasaki's balls for them calling this quad a sport quad and you're implying it's nothing more than a utility without the racks. My comment to you is your 250EX is nothing more than a Recon (utility quad) without the racks, essentially the exact same thing you're denouncing Kawasaki for doing.

Damn, that thing is ugly. What was kawasaki thinking, that should have been a v-twin 700 mojave. But I bet they will make alot of money off it tho, like 330exracer said, theres not alot of quads in this class only the scrammys.

I don't care what anyone says, If you have ever ridden a praire 650 you will realize that they move their weight pretty good, they are a really quick machine, but with 50 more ccs 100 pounds less weight and no shafts and diffrentials in the front end, this bike is going to haul ***, i know it will be a **** of alot faster than a 400ex,z400.
Just wait and see how it goes.
Mind you it probably handles like **** and theres no way in **** you would catch me on a motocross track with it.

i too agree that this was a smart move by kaw. this quad will be a big seller and the ultimate GNCC quad.

i cant not believe some of you guys are dogging them for making this quad if you dont like it fine you dont have to buy it.you guys should cherish this moment cause this is the best of times for quads rite now

beware if you never rode the v-twin praire then you don't know how fast that 4x4 is . it will run with 400exs
