Doing a 416 build. I want all the lowend I can get on pump gas.
I'm concerned with the dynamic compression I'll get with a Wiseco 11:1 piston and a Stg 1 HotCam (as for as detonation goes).
Anyone run this combo with success or do I need to run a lower static comp. piston?

I don't have personal experience with this setup but I do have a couple of comments. First, yes, pump gas (91 minimum) will work with a 11:1 comp piston or lower. Second, I understand that you want all low-end but generally, from what I hear, a Stage 2 Hot Cam works better with bored engines than a Stage 1. If you want more low-end, do a Stage 2 with lower gearing. Just my $0.02.

i have a 11:1 piston in my 300 and have to run high test to prevent detonation so your taking a chance but the extra few cents is worth it
