i was going through some old race pictures, these are from macon, georgia back in '01 i think it was

this is the first hybrid i helped build, justin fisher raced district 5 with it and a few nationals too. paula shank bought it off of him and its now for sale for 6k

That was the first year I went to Macon. That was a wake up call, the sand killed me. I remember two other things about that year, one Doug Gust had both the 2 stroke, and the Walsh z400 in practice, and two, Jason Luburgh won his Pro qualifer which I believe was his first race on his yz 426 Laeger.

here is a pic of the CRFhybrid i just picked up

Will be rebuilting motor soon.
I have read that the CRF motor r better if u put these into it.
stronger valves
clutch basket,pressure plate and springs.
Is there any thing else that should be done to the motor.

Worth putting the Athena 488 kit in if so what else has to be done ?
