red riders,

my front shocks are hashed on my 400ex. just wondered if i could use a set off a newer 450r. how about rears?

i know you can run 450r shocks in the front, any year. but im not sure about the rear

the fronts will work with a little bit of moding (there is a sticky on it) and the rear I am pretty sure will work, but the stock for stock the 400ex rear shock is pretty much just as good as the 450r rear shock

I have a sticky in the 400ex section, read it. Also just have your rear shock rebuilt by C@D Racing.

If you get them, make sure you have them set up for the EX. They suck otherwise.

the 05 ltz/kfx400 adj. rezzy front shocks are a direct bolt on but i don't know about the rear
