how well does a raptor shock perform on a 300 and does it bolt right up, and also whats the weight rating on it?

does any one have a pic of a dg moto plate bumper on a 300?

I would consider the raptor shock about equal with the quality of a works shock. It is for sure a great cheap mod for your 300. I did it to mine, and could tell a good difference. It bolts right up, but you might want to put a few washers on the top mount to fill in the extra gap, and you need to mount the rezzie on your left side frame rail.

I think you have to use a 01 raptor shock

Have to use the 2001. Remote resivour. Newer styles are piggyback and will interfere with the airbox.

As far as weight.. most quads are spring for about 150lbs from the factory on the plush side.

You'll want to send it off and get it revalved/resprung for the 300ex for the best preformance. But anything is better than the stock 300ex shocks.
