Yeah they are on backwards, When I put the a-arms back on I was doing it by myself and I just had to grab a wheel to hold one side up. I just so happened to be the wrong side. Its no big deal because I not riding it like anyway.

Posted by: exrider008

those tires r on the right way. they r stock 400ex tires, if u look on the side on the tire there will be an arow that tells you to put them how u have them. when i first got my 400 i thought they were on backwards but they wernt.

Posted by: gotwarrior

Well thats good to know, because those are going to be my spares.

I have a few more stickers that I can send you to slap on there if you'd like?!?!?! There is a blank spot on the side of the nosepiece that you missed.

how do oyu ahve both light hooked up, i have the same ones and they just drain every thing out and i unhooked one and they worked great. but now i have one high and one low so if one goes i have the other one. there on a blaster too. i dont know how many watts yours gives out,
thansk!

Posted by: 03warriorrider

woodsracer144 i have them wired just like the original lights. i kept the original connectors from the old lights and spliced them in. there only wired into the low beam part of the swith tho cause the lights dont have a high beam element. mine are 55 watts and they both run fine off the stock stator. in my clymer book it says it has a charging capacity of 12 amp hours. it also says to only use 25w bulbs but i've been running them for a while and everythings been fine. i would think its the same as a blaster. my buddy had them on his 400ex and it drains everything to.
hope this helps

^^^^^^^^^^^^ Pretty Cool... Thats the only flat track warrior I have ever seen in my life..

Posted by: 54warrior

I scanned in some pictures of mine that I took several years ago. Hasn't changed much since then. Has a black swingarm now though (it cracked, had to weld it and black was the only paint I had at the time).

I bought this quad brand new when I was 14, its a 96. Will probably be keeping it forever!!!

PS-Thats a 250R front bumper my friend gave me. The top mounts were a perfect fit, but had to do some rigging on the lower ones.

Posted by: 54warrior

Nice Chrome Clutch side cover pelphrey.

How do you like that PRM plate? Is it one of those new "Z" plates? I have the original style PRM plate, 1/4" and love it!!!

Posted by: pelphrey

Its the .250 model and its really thick it covers the linkage and rotor and rear sprocket easily. I feel very safe popping the front wheels over trees that are down and its a nice sound hearing that skid slap a tree and not dent it at all.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a386/pelphrey01/Quad/WarriorDyna.jpg

I got bored around halloween so I covered my light bar up with the "Jason" mask.
http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a386/pelphrey01/Quad/mMmWarrior.jpg

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a386/pelphrey01/Quad/WarriorMask.jpg

Posted by: 54warrior

Sorry, but the mask is kinda g@y. Were you riding it around for halloween trying to scare people or what?? Not sure I understand the point of it.

Everything else is cool though. Probably one of the better looking style of "race" cut front fenders too. Do you race it?

Posted by: gotwarrior

pelphrey-- is that a rev box on there? I am thinking about getting one I just don't know what brand to go with... Dose it make a big difference?

Posted by: 54warrior

Looks to me like a Dyna FS unit. Havn't heard much about these systems.

Personal opinion: save money for YFZ450, you'll get tired of the Warrior eventually, no matter how much you mod it. Sure you'll have a kick @$$ Warrior, but a stock 450 will still spank it.

Here is there tech info:

http://www.dynaonline.com/english/atv_feat.htm

Posted by: pelphrey

The mask was on there for about 5 minutes. I didn't think it looked all that bad considering the light bar looks like crap. However it didn't leave the garage wearing that. I have a set of blue plastics with the same exact cut and a dirtbike number plate made to mount over the light bar.

And no I do not race this thing. Its far to slow and heavy.

Yes that is a dyna FS I haven't really played with it much. I bought it in october and just finally rode it last weekend. Its set on stock right now. I also have the dyna programming kit and software. I myself wouldn't get any other CDI, I've heard plenty of nasty things about them and seen a few myself.

And back to you 54warrior!!! haha I will probably continue to put money into my warrior. I bought it brand new its paid for and its my first quad (sort of attached). My girl loves riding it and I think its perfect for her since its heavy up front. I will be upgrading to a YFZ I hope by the end of summer. Its going to kill me riding the warrior all summer because it just doesn't have the power I desire.

Ok all of you with gaps where your lights used to be, it is very easy to make a gap cover. just get some tin from home depot and some sheers and fab it up, i did it with my old warrior it took me 10min and WOW what a difference in appearance. You can make it out of cardboard first test fit then cut the tin. Not trying to high jack the thread but come on pull it together guys your looking sloppy out there.
