2000 Sportsman common problems

I'm looking at picking up a 2000 Sportsman that is setup with a plow from a buddy. I'm curious if there are any problems associated with the 2000 Sportsman's that I should look for or be aware of. He is a meticulous guy so I'm sure the bike is in the best shape it can possibly be for a used bike. I'm going to use this in conjunction with my snow thrower to clean my 3500 sq ft driveway.

the 2000 polaris sportsman is a great machine and will do more than expected but when using a plow if you are using a winch instead of a lift kit to heist up the plow and you pull and push the snow the drive belt will need to be replaced almost every season. that would be the only problem it is really a great machine
