Thanks the shocks are being rebuilt, PC'ed, and I'm doing a few other small things before 07' but other than that, It should be ready for a few XC's!

Hey kyle LMK how you did at sturgis today. Sorry I didn't make it..just didn't feel like making the trip. The next one I will rac will be the one december 30th, and I should go to the rest of the duquoin, and sturgis races after that.

Hey Stremme, I ran the Open Am. class and C class. In open Am their were six of us and i got sixth in the frist heat, and got 5th in the main. And i kept stallin my bike and couldnt start it and the batterie was dead for some reason. I dont know why though. And the day started off really bad because i felt VERY uncomfortable on the quad. I havent ridden it since I put the DASA on it, and I could not get comfortable on it. i didnt make the main in C though. I may end up going down to begginner. Because their is a boatload of sandbaggers in C. Hell, and Begginner to. But im not sure. Im gonna see if I can run both. And in the Open Ameatuer main, I pulled the holeshot, but wasnt hitting the big double, and got passed. lol. And im so out of shape. If the weather is nice I'm going to Soil tom. to try and get back into shape as best as possible. And im gonna start jogging after school. But by the end of the day I ended up looking ALOT better than what I did at the beginning. I didnt even look like the same rider. lol. Once I hit the big jumps, and get my endurance up I should be alot better. I will be their the 30th, and we are going down to Murray next saturday. We ended up gettin a big motor home like the Bolden's for a steal and took it down their today. It is so freakin awesome to be in one of those and not the truck. lol. See you around man, and you should go out to Soil tom. It should be fun, if Mother Nature permits.

Thefront shocks are 2004 DVX 400 and the rear is a 2003 Raptor shock.

I lived in Mississippi but I’m from Wisconsin. Anyone that is not from the south or does not know what that flag stands for sure as heck shouldn’t fly or flaunt it anywhere. If you do otherwise you are just ignorant for thinking it means being a bad***. I have more respect for the people that fly it knowing what it means that the ones that dont have a clue. I see kids at school wearing belt buckles with it that dont have a clue what they would go through if they had to live down south with some real good ole boys.

Yup!

The ding ding that had the bike before me had it on there and im far to lazy to do anything about it. I think it looks like crap but like i said im too lazy to change it..seeing as all i do is woods ride it makes some sence to have it higher in the air.

Those ltr450 shocks bolt right up? It does run a bit onthe hot side obviously but i do run an oil cooler so its never really been a problem.

i had to grind down the top of the shock because it was alittle to wide and put some washers at the bottom because it was alittle skinny

Aftermarket frame perhaps? Or a 400ex Frame?

What I can see of the motor (side case and tiny amount of the cylinder, it does look like a 250x motor.)

thanks, yea its finally coming around,

i put a complete 400ex rear end on it, axle included,

it took a good bit of grinding, to get the sprockets to align correctly,, and i had to add a section of chain, and use a 400ex carrier,

as far as the shock, i used a 01 raptor shock, with a custom, linkage or bracket that extended the shock mounting point back in to around where it should be,

if was one of the best mods i have done, you get alot more stability, and alot more wheel spin, which is nice on the 300,

i will get some more pics, when i get a chance

definitely. i know what you mean, every time i ride my cousin's 250x i just sit and wonder how he can ride it for so long without getting sick of how bad it handles.

i have a 250r rear end on mine and it's wonderful. full, though. shock and all. great upgrade

yea, i love my fenders, they set you apart from almost any 300 out there

there easy to install, and tough as hell,
just remember you need to order the tank cover also,

just keep an eye on ebay. you can find some pretty good deals on triple rate works w/ ressies on there. usually go for around 150 to 200. the 650 dollar peps (cheapest ones they make but are still spectacular haha) go for like 300 on there

yea, after i get my 330 build totally done, and after a steering stabalizer, i will start looking for some shocks, i would love to find some peps in good shape, or maybe works tripple rates with rezzys, or ohlins piggybacks,

but this all requires mone yand now i have to find a new case ,so it might be a while, but thanks for the tip, ill keep an eye out

I helped brian tune them and set them up, i saw the post so i wont awnser for him but ill give you my input

i had elka on my 300 but mine where remote rezzie/fully adjustable so i didnt know what to expect with his, his are dual rate preload adj. after we set them up he took it for a ride and he liked them alot, i also took it for a ride and it was a little soft for me but i weigh a few pounds more than him so i didnt take that into acount as they werent set up for me. other than that these shocks are perfect for someone who wants better shocks but can't afford all the adjustments, i have full faith that he could take his 300 to a track and do just fine with these shocks. another cool thing is later on down the road you can add rezzies if you want to. im sure he'll say more how he likes them but if they
where on my quad i wouldnt have any complaints
