The predator 90 quad will start up fine,but when I give it gas it shuts off.I cleaned the carb main jet and the pilot jet and all the passages.I changed the plug and checked the cap.It's getting good gas flow.I don't know what else it could be?

Need more info. Is it a stock carb? Is there any mods on the engine? Doese it clean out with the choke pulled but won't idol? Some of the older predators had stator problems.

05 predator was running good then it just started acting up.Now when I start it and go to give it gas it dies,I cleaned the carb 3 times already with a air hose.I noticed with the air filter off that it spits gas out the carb.24 mm carb mukini

The intake where the reeds are,I can see a red piece of plastic,what is this?

Looks like a broken reed in there. The yellow thing.
The red piece is probably the stuffer.

I know for sure that is a reed,but didn't know if I was suppose to see it there,or if they were suppose to be dual reeds there. I don't know much about these mini quads.Thanks WRH racing

It was a broken reed,now I got to figure out how to get the piece that is missing out of the motor,maybe I can use a shop vac and get lucky.

our 05 pred does the same thing, after runing it with the choke on they start to push the shoke down but not all the way to keep it runing.
