Anybody know the difference between an 85 and up atc rear shock and a trx rear shock?

the differences that come to mind are shock length, the lower dog bone assembly lengths and ofcourse, the arrangement of the canister. they will interchange but ya should use the corresponding lower linkages. also the canister hose will have interference with the stock air boots and such.
