I have a 07 450er, I went to my local dealer and bought a 175 main jet and ordered a 05 CRF450 needle. The stock needle(on my 450) has a flat top, then the grooves for the clip. This needle doesnt have the flat top (like a nail), that the stock needle does. Any info on if this is correct? Do I just put the clip on and use the clip as the flat top? HELP PLEASE!!

You nailed it!!!!! My 05 CRF needle is in the 4th position, on my 06.

Thats 4th down from the top right? Did you notice a big difference? And if anyone is looking for a dynojet jet kit let me know, I have a complete kit with multiple jets and a new needle.
