Here is what happens after smacking a ditch, tree, and rolling done a hill at last weekends dust bowl. Traci did this on the hill climb right after the first check point of the first lap. At the end, she told me to check it out - since it was not handling really well. The frame is swayed and twisted 2 - 3 inches, axle bent, grab bar trashed, etc.....
You can see the twist by looking at the foot pegs. And the sway from the other picture.

Here is the sway in the sub frame.

I'm guessing Traci is OK since you only mentioned the damage to the quad..
I guess having all those sponsors is nice when things like this happen and you need many replacement parts..

She was fine on Saturday, and really sore for the past two days. Next time your at the races, come down and say hello.

Maybe Lonestar will supply you with a Frame. Do you have Gusseting done to your Frame?
Posted by: 465Stroker
Lonestar does not make frames for a 300EX. Yes the frame was gussetted - something had to bend though. Traci said the worse part was trying to find it at the bottom of the hill with all of the dust - plus trying not to get run over since visability for her and the other racers going buy was zero.

Rick, I kept trying to get Rico to go down and get a picture of her on the line but I think he is shy!!!
Posted by: 465Stroker
Are ya sure? Rico sent me this picture??
Posted by: cdalejef
Someone took that picture at another race! (notice the grass) This was the first GNCC Rico has ever been to! He used my camera and I know that picture wasn't on there, I think he's trying to fool ya!

Hey, Rick. It is nice to see you in the Forum. It is Harlen from District 6. I have had a horrible year racing, but I think my luck has changed. I bought a new Z400, and have raced it three times with good results. I will be going to Mt. Morris for my first National on the Z. I will look for you on the Line. I am glad to hear Traci is OK.

Chavez do you have any Pictures of your 400 it sounds nice?
Posted by: GNCCer
Rick does this mean that Traci might look a little more GREEN for the next race?
Posted by: 465Stroker
More than likely no. I do have a spare red frame at the shop that we will be using for the rest of the year. Traci actually has a complete quad sitting at home that is identical to the white one - which she won 2 championships on - but it is up for sale. Traci really likes the Kawasaki and feels that she can win with it in stock form and maybe some beadlocks, skids and steering dampner. I was trying to persuade her last night - I guess it is still up in the air. I know it would save me a whole day from switching everything to the new frame.

465stroker Do you have any pics of Traci's 300 with the whole tc pipe showing? Thanks
Posted by: popo
465Stroker, I don't think you need to worry about Rico stealing your wife. Just that green thang next to her.
You are the envy of most racers. A wife that races, cooks, cleans and lets you spent money on quads.
Where did I go wrong
with my wife, she can't do neither. Wanna trade ? I'll even throw in a Raptor plus a case of Rico's KY moonshine and a bunch of get out of jail cards.
Posted by: 465Stroker
Nac's - I will see what I can come up with...
Popo - I guess that I am just a bit lucky
At least you wife cannont kick you *** on a quad though - there are some downfalls
Posted by: cdalejef
ROFLMAO......good point Rick!

Rick do you realize that pic of Traci will be the wallpaper of 2000+ exrider members..

hey rick, i will be racing my 300ex in missouri harescrambes this summer and was wondering what would be the best axle and width. I am thinking of getting a lonestar cuz of all the bad things ive heard about durablue , thanx for any info. I cant wait to even get a girl friend that will have the guts to ride with me or one with a quad.:devil

block out her face rick, lol, i seen her in a few dirtwheels ( i think), and u tested out a blaze i think, well, if she can beat u, jus accidently let some air out of her tires, or accidently loosten her fuel line
Posted by: popo
Let me be the first to tell you, after watching Traci and Stephanie run hard at Mt.Morris this weekend. I can attest that Traci would win on flat tires. You need to see them race to really appreciate the the true speed and talent they both have.
And if you’re and 1st yr. racer get the HELLLL out of Stephanie’s way cause she’s gonna run your *** over.
Rick it was a pleasure meeting you and Traci this past weekend.
