Currently in process of buying an 05 raptor, how do i know whether its a geniune 05 model or not? I know the chassis code is suppose to tell you but how do i read it correctly? U probably think im a dumbass but i just wanna make sure im not buying a different model trying to be passed on to me as an 05. Any input would be great, Thanks!

look at the VIN on the frame, count to the 10th digit, if it's a 5, then it's a 2005

if's it a 4, then it's a 04

and on and on
