i found an 04 raptor 1 owner, low hours, ownership, asking $4,900 Canadian, so $4,322 american. Is this a good deal? Nada lists it for $4,300. Does it look like its condition?

if there are any mods, can you see them? stock a-arms or no?

i cannot tell... it has nerfs and a bumper, not sure if its factory...

Posted by: DieselBoy

i am probably going to buy it tomorrow, if possible.

Hey man. I paid 3500 for a 2002 with nerfs, grab bar, bumper, gears, beadlocks. That one you are looking at looks stock, except for the grab bar, bumper and nerfs. Looks like a 6-pack rack. I say **** it, if you have a good feeling from the owner that it was not ragged upone and it does not look ragged upone, buy it. It is your money ad as long as you are happy with the decision all others can **** off. ya know?

i like the fact that it's an 04, and the price isnt too high. They usually sell for about 5,800 for an 04.

just trying to a feel whether this is a good price.

I think it is pretty good. See if you can talk them down to 4K Get it man. I love my Raptor, just have to learn my twist throttle now. Whole new animal.

I want that truck in the background

I really think thats a good price looks to be in good shape but i would ask if any mods done to it besides the nerfs and bumper and grabbar i think i would buy it for that price!

Alright guys, with the given input I'm confident the price is pretty fair, and there is room to talk him down, but who knows how low.

My dad is going to see it tomorrow as I cannot due to work, but I've given him a list to check, and he's pretty good with these things, so we'll go from there. He may put a deposit on it, and I can get it next week as he is away this weekend.

I like the fact that it's only had 1 owner, and that he's rarely riden it since he bought it.

Thank you for the input, keep 'em comin'!

I checked out your pics, nice raptor! Always had a thing for the raptors. Wanted one since the day I found out they were coming out. Any problems with your one way?

Also, looks like you have a number of quads. Nice blaster, and is that a kawasaki mojave?

Posted by: DieselBoy

Another thing I really like that yamaha has done is placed a screw on oil filter on their machines. I hope the oil filter isn't expensive!

Posted by: blueyeace1

only thing i had to do to my Raptor is i replaced the starter clutch and also replaced the starter clutch gears while i had it appart..but that is a know thing going bad in the Raptors from what i understand but eay to replace..i get all my oil filters off ebay you can get great deals there on them..yes thats a 1990 Mojave 250 ..runs great and also the blaster runs great it has a complete rebuild motor from top to bottom with.60 bored and full FMF Exaust and stage2 dynojet kit its fast and has no problems but im looking to trade it off for a 4stroke ive done alot work to my Blaster but Youngest son wants a 4storke now that his older Brother has one...lol which is the Mojave
1989 Blaster with a 2001 rebuilt motor

So did you buy this quad? and where abouts in Ont are you?

I would say that $4300 is a rip considering i found the same quad on ebay for $3300 say's here that it's a 02

4300 is high, notice it only brought 2700

Posted by: coryatver

It definitely needs new rear tires. Who puts balloon tires on a sport quad? Probably because they cost like 20 bucks haha

Posted by: DieselBoy

um.......thanks for finding that pic on ebay, i was suspicious it might have not even been a pic of the actual one, i guess it isnt.....

Posted by: ECATV Raptor

Theres a really nice Raptor on Ebay. Part # 130046536316. Buy it now 3900 bucks. Its pretty nice lookin

Posted by: oldskoolex400

looks like extended a arms with stock shocks

3900 still seems high for a 660 with stock suspension....

the website requires the pics to be a certain size to keep their webstorage from filling up and having no room...

you need to resize them, get paint.net ...go to download.com and type in photo editor... download a free one... and then change the image size to a smaller one and then save it...
