I have a 2002 300ex and my brother just bought a 1993 blaster and both quads are pretty much even or the blaster has it by a little bit. What can i do to make my 300ex faster than his blaster? I have fmf mega max II exhaust and the blaster is stock.
Please help he's bragging it up!!

get rid of the megamax (no offence but i dont really like fmf 4 stroke pipes) and get a white brothers e-series or a sparks pipe then get a k&n or uni air filter rejet and put a renthal sprocket thats one up from stock on it and possible get bigger rear tires ........ i think thats about it but i dont kno too much so wait for other replys also
watch out for the money u put to urs he can put a LOT more to his

Get rid of the mega max 2 and get you the fmf titanium 4 pipe. It's awesome. Or get the powercore 4. But until you get the pipe you could try taking your airbox lid off, and rejetting your quad. Maybe go up a size on the main jet. Try that and see what happens. But you should be smokein him with the little mods you have, blasters suck.

switch bikes for a race and then see who wins, because even a stock 300 can beat a blaster, and you even have a pipe

yours might not be jetted correctly, i would say, get a higher performance airfilter, such as K&N or UNI and then re-jet it, and then you should definitely beat him

The weight difference between me and my brother is what is killing me. We switched up and he can smoke me on his blaster with my 300. So... i'm slowly adding stuff to make up for the weight difference. thanks guys keep the posts coming!

what 22" rear tires isnt big enough??? what do u think 25's.

I actually rced a Blaster a few wk. ends ago, and I beat him bad!!Like 40 yards!!you should be able to smoke him..I run a Yoshi on mine..
