Ok i couldn't find much info on the comparison of these motors. Which would be a better choice to go with for a 400ex frame. Is the ktm more difficult to put in than the crf? Which one would produce more power????

thats a good question... i got a ktm450sx motor in my 400ex and omg its fast.. i have never uo next to a crf450 motor but i can smoke trx's and yfz's..

I had a 450sx motor in my preddy before I switched to a 525exc.
That motor pulled really hard. First gear was crazy.

Ya i am going with the ktm motor. How is the install?? Any problems or hints i should know about??

u got to cut on the top of ur frame on the left side to clear the water pump..

Oh ok, what about the back of the frame to clear around the intake/carb
