Ok, so I am going to be making a 400ex hybrid real soon. I haven't decided on what motor yet. I was thinking probably a crf 450. What would be a good price for one. See a bunch on eBay, but wondering what they usually sell for...

I've been watching them and it seems to be $1500-$2000.

used yeah, $1500-1800 I would say for a nice used 03 or so. Don't get a 02'

yz400 motors you can get for $800

I got my 2002 yz426 motor with elec/carb/white bros full system/oil tank for i think $1300. Radiator costed $400 but you can find stock ones for $50. To mod the frame it costed $270.
