Does anyone know if there is anyway of testing the oil pump, i have already fitted the pump and was just concerned because the bike hasn't ran in 8 years and was just wondering if there could be any solidified oil or debris inside it that could cause it to fail, i have checked the line from the tank and it is clear but can't remove the pipe from pump to carb to check it. Any help appreciated.

I'm sure you could figure out a way to put a drill on it to test.
what ya mean you can't take the pipe off? It's just a plastic tube that pulls off either end.
