dealer called today and said it will take 4+ hours to do the throttle recall. I think there full of it. Maybe I am missing some thing. You quys that have already done this, how long did it take. Just for the record it's not going to them. I am not giving my quad that is out of warranty to some kid,(nothing personal) that will want to try it out after in the field..... or will crank the starter for 1 hour because he can't start it for a test drive.

i work at a dealership and i have done three of them. the time honda pays them to do it is .4 hours i think they got mixed up. it is really easy. i is just a piece in the throttle housing on the handle bar. and it only took me .2 hours to do it.

i havent even seen one that was bad yet. but there must have been some to have them put a recall out. or else they just felt like following suzuki's foot steps and recalling everthing

takes about 15 minutes with a new gasket and all.

I am assuming he meant 4 hrs is their turn around estimate for the job. Having a tech available for the job and doing it. The job takes 15 minutes or less. Just try another dealer if they don't sound on the ball.
