Does anyone know how Pismo Beach compares to Glamis, Gordon's Well, and Buttercup? I've heard all of them are awesome, but I like the fact that Pismo is right on the ocean, at least I think it is, and I think that the view of the ocean would make it that much more awesome. Like Silver Lake sand dunes run alongside Lake Michigan and the views from there are so cool.

sweet pictures, I love that place.
raptor68, Pismo is a quarter size compared to glamis. Its cool to go during the summer. You camp right on the beach which is cool.

I cant speak for Gordons Well and Buttercup, but the biggest difference I have seen between Glamis and Pismo is the sheer size! Glamis has much more area to ride, and the dunes are much bigger. I went to Pismo during the summer months, and it was packed, which made it a little less fun to ride. Now that its desert season, the crowd may have gone down.
My girlfriend loved Pismo, she is a beach bunny. Plus, shes not a great rider, so the riding area didnt matter much to her. Both are beautiful in their own way, and both will take your breath away if you have never been.
