i just bought a bike that was already jetted and i was wonderin if i ever have to do maintanance on it, or dont have to worry about it.

The reasons for jetting are usually the following:

Change in;
intake and/or exhaust (aftermarket)
Altitude
Ambient temperature
Humidity

As far as maintenance goes, I don't believe the jets or needles require any or if they do it is very rare. Just keep your carb clean.
