Warrior isnt running right!!

It isnt running right at all!Here is a list of all wut it does
1.sucks air heavily through the air box boot
2.has very bad throttle response
3.a very thick and heavy white smoke and oil comes out the ehaust
4.Makes a popping noise in the cylinder
5.spark plug is black

now it does need the lifters ajusted,piston rings and i am running #145 main jet with a UNI filter and removed snorkle.I got all the oil out of the carb.

definetely sounds like you need a top end rebuild. yeah you do and that sucks.

its not that bad....if you know what ur doin rip it apart and check stuff out being its an old quad and stuff....it will be fun.

Sounds like an "Off the showroom floor" Warrior to me.

the intakes on warriors are bad about cracking and it will suck in air making it pop and sputer.

alsocheck your your gas oil could of got in there

i accidently got permix in mine and also look at the vent tube also that goes into the airbox your oil could be too full and it got sucked in therre and clogged up th j-e-t-s!!!!

Yeah I would check the little things first like sucking air before I tore the motor apart.

I already took the hole cylinder apart.The piston is black on top with some little marks (not niks) on the side but the sleeve looks fine.I think since i got it apart im gonna bore it .40 over with a 10:25:1 wiseco piston and new valves.How much are valves.This has been a really godd bike for its age i just tested its limitsa little tooo much.

yep warriors do suck...my buddy has one and he barely even rides it and the brakes are all screwed up... I on the other hand have my 300ex that never has problems.. And wen his quad is running good i can still stomp on it.. Warriors are just banshee wannabees....

well ill tell you..the warrior's limits stop at third gear...lol

The problem was that the lifter got too loose to open and close the valve makeing all those problems. As for the cylinder etc they are fine and dont needs a rebuild like you guys said! w/e

it dosnt matter what you get i think yamaha and suzuki may not be totally as good reliabiity wise but they are faster and if you want a yamaha or a suzuki i think that is what you should get
