wondering if my mojave was really worth 1200$

i bought it used, from my friend who bought it used. its a 2002, has nerfs bumper bars and tires, cracked plastic in numerous places, but not bad, some paint is peeling, needs a new chain, the tires are worn down, and the front left tire is flat, all the tims are dented as much as the could possibly be dented. so ill need some new parts right off the bat

my friends dad thinks my friend got ripped off. i think it was decent, seeing that im the 3rd owner, and all the things wrong with it.

and every other mojave ive seen is cheap so the resale value isnt very high on them
